Does anyone know how to take nail polish off besides using nail polish remover?

i want to take off the nail polish on my toes but i dont have any nail polish remover at this moment. is there any other way to take it off?

take a really light color nail polish and put a load on the nail and then rub it off really hard...it might take a few tries...

Just pick it off. It helps if you wet the nails first. I can't keep nail polish on because I'm always peeling and picking at it. Or just run to the store and buy nail polish remover if you can't get the polish off on your own I guess.
You could look around in your basement or garage for some paint thinner or goo gone. But PLEASE be careful. Sometimes you can manage to paint over the old polish if you are in a bind.
