I am 33 years old and have bitten my nails since I was little. The really gross stuff that you put on them doesn't work because I just bite right through it and fake fingernails don't work either. If you have any other suggestions please let me know!! Thanks!!Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop a nail biting habit?
I have done this as well, since I was very young....I finally stopped on my own. I got a job where people are constantly looking at my hands. Through embarrassment, I finally stopped. My job was writing contracts(real estate) and the client always watches when you writing about their money...lol. For a while, I would just bite them enough to trim them, just to get out of that biting need. Now I use a clippers and I'm bite free! My oldest daughter bites them as well and we are working on that too.Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop a nail biting habit?
I'm 20 and have been biting my nails for years. I just decided to stop a few weeks ago, I quit cold turkey. Whenever I get the urge to bite, I pop in a piece of gum. So far its worked.
Press on Nails is how I stopped in high school, good luck!

nail painting .it may help.
My cousin used to have a nasty habit of biting her nails, too. Her mother put tea tree oil on my cousin's fingertips so it would taste nasty when she bit her nails. But when you wash your hands, the tea tree oil might go away, so always carry it with you to reapply it on when the tea tree oil is washed away.
