Mine always comes off within 2 days of going on!!!How do you get nail poilsh to stay on longer?
ive noticed that if i put too many coats of colored nail polish on it takes sooooo long to dry completely. even when it seems dry it gets little dents in it because the unside still isnt dry. but, ive noticed that clear dries really quick. so what i do to make my nail polish stay on longest is:
1) use a cotton ball and rub nail polish remover on your nails to get off any oils or lotions that may be on your nail.
2) apply a base coat of clear nail polish. let it dry COMPLETELY (which shouldnt take tooo long)
3) apply your colored polish. one coat only! (unless it is vey sheer and one coat doesnt show up well. but just try do put the least colored nail polish you can) make sure it is COMPLETELY dry (this might take a while)
4) then apply a top coat of clear!
this should make your nail polish stay on for a lot longer! :)How do you get nail poilsh to stay on longer?
Use two really good clear top coats and make sure they are thoroughly dry before you resume pre-manicure activities. That finishing spray for nails is really great. Good Luck!!!
put double coats. to do this paint ur nails let it dry and do it again.
You need to prep your nails first.
Wash hands then push back cuticles and remove skin that's on the nail, get rid of the oil on your nail(I use scrub fresh by creative). Doing this will help the polish adhere better. also use a good base coat(or ridge filler if you have ridges) then put 2 coats of polish then a good no chip topcoat(OPI, Creative, etc).
Even though I said to remove the oil make sure after you apply polish to use cuticle oil on your fingers. It really helps the polish to stay on and also it moisturizes your cuticles so they will stay looking lovely.
Above are good, a top coat/base coat help. BUT, remember that finger nails grow!!! Heee Heee! So, you will see at the Cuticle there will be no Polish, when this begins to happen it makes it easy to start to Peel and Chip. That the opinion of a man though. ;-)
do the whole routine - base coat, nail polish, top coat.
also, try putting nail polish remover on your nails before applying polish.
Get it done at the nail salon.
file and buff up nails before painting them, put on a clear base coat then follow this with your chosen colour, once dry put on another clear coat of nail varnish as a top coat, this will lock in colour and will be stronger too
Use a base coat, three or four coats of nail polish and two to three top coats. When I do that, the polish stays on for about a week.
Try using a base coat and a top coat.Using a better brand of polish will also help.
Paint your nails last thing at night the paint will be fully hardened by the morning and last loads longer.
go get it done at a salon and usually they have little ';perm'; places where you stick you hands under until they e4y. stay under for at least half an hr and ur polish will stay for A LOT longer. bring a magazine or a friend.
apply ur finishing (top) coat not only to the coloured part, but also to the underneath of the end of the nail.
tis is to completely seal e colour.
well, i guess our colour starts chipping from the front (end) of the nail.
it works great for me.
Hey the best brand i've found for keeping polish on - over a week! - was Revlon Colorstay! just use the color and topcoat, nothing more.
Put on a topcoat
