How long does nail polish last or when do you know when it's time to through it away?

Sometimes my nail polish feels like it never dries. Does that mean it's old?How long does nail polish last or when do you know when it's time to through it away?
when nail lacquer doesn't dry as fast as it originally did..

it's time to throw it out %26amp; buy a new bottle.

nail lacquer lasts about 6 months to a year (depending upon the brand) after it's been opened. How long does nail polish last or when do you know when it's time to through it away?
when it's thick it means it OLD.

umm, well i have diff nailpolishes. some take more time then others but they're used only 3-4 times. so that wouldn't be old.
defitely when the color kind of gets the dull look, or when it starts 2 chip, u should definitely remove it.
um i dont think it ever weres out inless it turn a funny looking color
Nail polish last for more than a year...if you put them in the right place. When it's time to throw them away, you will notice a change straightaway. Maybe there could be a lot of water in the bottles. Basically, you will notice a change.

p.s-the year span actually depends on the quality of the nail polish.
Yeah - it's too thick. Keep polish in the refridgerator to keep them thin so they'll last longer. It depends on how often you use it as to how long it lasts...I don't keep mine for more than a year.
yah it old
